Andrea Sator, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Applied Business Technology program at the University of the Fraser Valley. She is an educator, researcher, and curriculum specialist with over twenty years of experience in applied business communication, educational technology, and work-integrated learning in British Columbia’s post-secondary sector.

Her teaching focuses on business and workplace communication, office technologies, digital professionalism, and the ethical use of generative AI. She designs student-centred, experiential courses that bridge theory and practice while supporting accessibility, inclusion, and career readiness for modern administrative and business environments.

Andrea’s research and professional practice explore teacher identity, learning design, digital pedagogy, and experiential education. She is committed to reflective teaching, curriculum innovation, and supporting students as confident, capable professionals.
