What we do

At UFV, the Conflict Resolution Office (CRO) assists staff, faculty, and teams in handling conflict situations. Whether through informal talks or formal procedures, we're here to guide you through challenges, find solutions, and promote a positive campus atmosphere. Additionally, we create programs, and review policy to promote a safe, respectful, and healthy environment for all.

Services we offer

The Conflict Resolution Office provides support services including:  

  • Confidential advice and support
  • Mediation services
  • Intervention and support
  • Management of formal and informal harassment and bullying claims and complaints.
  • Collaboration with the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Human Rights Office
  • Training opportunities, such as department-specific sessions and Respect in the Workplace Training.

Are you facing conflict, bullying, and harassment?

Find out how you can get information, assistance, and/or access to support services if you find yourself in one of the situations described below:

  • Issue between two or more employees
  • Unkind or demeaning comments
  • Inappropriate remarks or jokes
  • Being singled out, isolated or ostracized
  • Unwanted comments or touching
 

Are you experiencing discrimination?

If you are facing discrimination based on the characteristics below, contact the EDI & Human Rights Office, as these are protected under Human Rights:
