How to submit a capital project request

Before you start

Before submitting a proposal, be sure to review and complete Steps 1, 2, and 3 of the project planning process.

Submit a Space Changes and Request form

As a dean or administrator, you will consult with the Campus Planning office regarding space needs as part of your annual planning. To initiate your space change request, you need to first have it approved by your respective vice-president, and then submit the completed Space Changes and Requests form to the Campus Planning office for review.

Your proposal may require a Business Case

Some projects require a Business Case to be submitted as well. If this applies to your project, Campus Planning will contact you and help you create your Business Case.

‌Capital project approval timeline

Capital project proposals can be submitted to the Campus Planning Working Group from September 1 to March 31.
