Addressing industry needs through flexible training

Microcredentials play a crucial role in addressing industry needs by providing targeted, flexible, and rapidly deployable training solutions that upskill and reskill professionals in alignment with evolving market demands. For industries and companies, they offer a cost-effective way to bridge skill gaps, ensuring employees stay competitive in their fields while having a deep understanding of emerging trends.

Chambers of Commerce can also benefit by advocating for workforce development, fostering stronger connections between businesses and educational institutions, and supporting regional economic growth. As industries face increasing technological disruptions, microcredentials can provide an agile learning approach that enhances employability, supports career progression, and drives innovation within organizations.

Moreover, public organizations, including government agencies and non-profits, can leverage microcredentials to enhance workforce competency, support economic mobility, and ensure employees are equipped with the latest knowledge in policy, technology, and service delivery.

How do digital badges work?

Each microcredential course allows you to earn a digital badge that validates your knowledge and skills. Each course is a new, distinct badge that is encrypted with your name and the competencies you acquired in the course.

The badges can be added to LinkedIn accounts, embedded in resumes, and onto social media platforms.

As you earn more badges, you will have the opportunity to “stack your badges” to receive larger microcredential badges.

Admission process

The admission process for microcredentials will vary. More details will be available soon.
