If you’re planning to pay your tuition using student loans or other approved funding (such as RESP or a student line of credit), you may qualify for a fee deferral. A fee deferral lets you extend your payment deadline until your funding arrives.
To apply, submit the fee deferral form through your myUFV account at least five business days before the fee payment deadline.
Note: For those applying for government student loans, your funding must be approved before you can qualify for a fee deferral.
Important Notes
- The $200 registration deposit usually cannot be deferred.
- Fee deferrals are not automatic—you must apply each semester if needed.
Continuing Education Students
If you’re in a Continuing Education program and using approved funding (student loan, RESP, etc.), you may also need a fee deferral to register for your courses.
Complete the fee deferral application linked below to be considered.
