Partnerships and transfer agreements

Nichola Valley Institute of Technology

The University of the Fraser Valley has teamed up with the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology to enable participants in an NVIT diploma program to earn a Bachelor of General Studies degree.

NVIT is a British Columbia public post-secondary institution governed by the Indigenous community and serving primarily Indigenous students.

Graduates of the three-year Chemical Addictions Worker advanced diploma (ChAD) program are offered the opportunity to take an additional 30 credits of upper-level courses through UFV in order to earn a Bachelor of General Studies degree.

Columbia Bible College

UFV has put in place a block transfer agreement with Columbia Bible College, whose General Studies program students can transfer into UFV’s Bachelor of General Studies.

Coastal Pacific Aviation

In collaboration with Coastal Pacific Aviation, UFV offers an aviation theme, allowing you to complete a two-year aviation diploma and continue your studies to earn a Bachelor of General Studies, Thematic option: Professional Pilot Training — Fixed Wing

This partnership with Pacific Coastal Aviation allows you to craft an educational plan that suits your career goals, while also completing training for your commercial pilot license and at least one of the advanced options: heavy jet or professional flight instructor.
