Indigenizing Agricultural Watercourses and Water Management - NEW

Explore the intersection of agricultural water use and Indigenous water governance in British Columbia through an immersive, field-based learning experience.

This course offers an intensive examination of four current BC initiatives, complemented by field visits to waterway restoration projects and insights from Indigenous Elders, community leaders, and industry practitioners.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of collaborative water stewardship, reconciliation in practice, and emergin approaches to sustainable resource management.

Offered in conjunction with AGRI 497C, this course is available as a Professional Development opportunity for BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) registrants.
