Why do I need to pay a tuition deposit?

Your tuition deposit holds your spot and allows you to register. Pay it as early as possible to make sure you're all set when course registration opens. UFV credits the deposit toward your tuition and fees. If you decide not to register for classes after paying the deposit, you can request a refund.

3 tips for a stress-free experience

  • Always save your receipt or online confirmation number as proof of payment in case of any inquiries regarding payments applied to an account.
  • Pay early. It can take 3-5 business days for banks or credit unions to process payments. If you're mailing a cheque, allow plenty of time for delivery.
  • Vendors may charge fees. Your bank or credit union may charge for services like bill payments or money orders. These fees are your responsibility.
