Steps to apply

Apply early for best selection

Application Deadline:

Fall 2025 applications will be accepted on a continual basis until seats fill. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by January 15 for best opportunity with seat selection for the next fall intake.

CDA academic entrance requirements

BC Secondary school graduation or equivalent, and a minimum C grade in the following two courses: English 12 (see Note) or ENGL 099 or ENGL 091, and Biology 12 (or UFV BIO 093)

Note: English 12 equivalent courses include English 12 First Peoples, English Literature 12, AP English, and IB English A (standard level or higher level).

Complete your application

  1. Submit the UFV Application form online (Category: Vocational Program)
  2. Submit your proof of B.C. secondary school graduation and any official transcripts* from all post-secondary institutions that you have attended to the Office of the Registrar (OReg).

*Please note that to be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UFV from the originating institution

Submit additional documents

Submit all remaining do‌cuments to the School of Health Studies, Chilliwack campus by email or fax (in-person submissions to reception desk is currently closed):

  1. Additional Application form (Dental)
  2. Confidential Reference for CDA applicants (volunteer/work experience)
  3. Personal reference letter
