Accounting for Small Business Owners: Foundations of Financial Management Microcredential

Whether you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, or new manager, this microcredential will teach you the principles of accounting and financial record keeping that are essential for any type of business.

Throughout this course, you will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Managing day-to-day transactions.
  • Understanding financial statements.
  • Making informed decisions based on financial data.

By the end of this course, you will have the tools and techniques to track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. You will also have a foundation in budgeting, cash flow management, and basic tax considerations. 

Upon completion, you will receive a digital badge that certifies your skills in the foundations of financial management for any small business. Your badge can then be shared to your resume, LinkedIn profile, and social media profiles to showcase your knowledge.
