This short and hands-on microcredential will give you a solid foundation for how to use Python effectively with Excel. The course gives an introduction for how Python can work with Excel spreadsheets for automation, data analysis, and reporting.

This microcredential is ideal for professionals who regularly use Excel and want to enhance their efficiency and analytical capabilities. The course will cover:

  • Reading and writing Excel files
  • Automating repetitive tasks
  • Cleaning data
  • Performing advanced calculations using libraries such as openpyxl, pandas, and xlwings.

By the end of the course, you will gain practical experience with integrating Python workflows with Excel to streamline business operations and reporting.
