Miranda has a diploma in Interactive Media & Web Design with a Bachelors of Arts from University of British Columbia. Miranda specializes in interactive media such as WordPress, user experience, e-commerce, and website development.
Miranda is very passionate about online presence that empower and educates its audience. For example she tells her students mastering “chicken faces” and “divs” can change the face of web development. She has structured WordPress workshops that teaches individuals without any coding experience to build and manage their own website at the YMCA. In addition, Miranda developed curriculum for Stanford University at Digital Media Academy. She stresses the importance of web content and organizing thoughts for the audience to promote brand awareness.
Miranda worked as a project manager for ZenHouse Media. She collaborated on a community project ‘Granville Island Works’. There she oversaw the development of a large scale website, designed an interactive map, managed media content and promotional packages geared towards gaining media attention and sponsorship in the community.
