Biography

Andrew Iverson has taught modern languages and international relations for more than 20 years at prestigious institutions in Canada, France, and Mexico. He also trains Canadian federal civil servants to help them achieve their official bilingual certification and runs his own online language teaching business for students around the world. He has worked as an instructor for the University of the Fraser Valley since 2010 and for the University of British Columbia since 2006, teaching for numerous programs including Explore, Experience University Life, Languages at Extended Learning, the Teachers’ French Institute for UBC in Quebec, and the Summer Institute for Translation and Interpretation. He holds an undergraduate degree in international studies with a focus on languages and linguistics and an MA in European studies with a focus on French policy. Andrew speaks French, English, Spanish, and German and regularly translates professionally for various government agencies and private companies.
