Everyone is included and welcome

Student Wellness supports and celebrates all UFV students, and we encourage you to read about our guiding principles for diversity and belonging.

Student Wellness

The Student Wellness department Is situated on the ancestral territory of the Stó:lō peoples. We recognize and hold gratitude towards the continuous contributions they have made to these lands. Through our work, we will support decolonizing health and wellness practices and bring awareness to the many ways of knowing.

Wellness is within you

Living a healthy and balanced student life can be a challenge! Student Wellness is here to help tap into your strengths and skills to support your well-being.

Our mission is to provide practical resources and educational guides to support resilience and growth in your academic learning. Check out our self-guided resources and on-campus Wellness Centre's to discover more about your health & wellness.

The Wellness Centre

A calm space to relax & connect

A calm space to relax & connect

The Wellness Centre is a dedicated space for students to lounge, read, and relax. We offer nourishing snacks, coffee, and tea. You will find an assortment of wellness books, activities, and games for well-needed restoration.

The Wellness Centre will be open in August. To connect with our team or our Centres, please email us at studentwellness@ufv.ca.

"The Wellness Centre is a great place to visit to learn about campus resources, connect with peers, and receive support. The environment is so calming and welcoming. I would recommend it to any friend ."

Alec Z, BA student (4th year)

Chat with a wellness peer

Two students chat in the Wellness centre

You’re welcome to drop by the Student Lounge/Wellness Centre (S1111) during business hours to use the space, connect with others, or see if a Wellness Peer is available.

To ensure a Wellness Peer is available to connect with you during the Summer, we recommend scheduling a drop-in time in advance. Please use your UFV email to complete the drop-in scheduling form.

Please use your UFV email to complete the booking form, found here:

UFV Student Wellness

Here’s what your chat will look like:

  • The Wellness Peer will meet you at the front desk of S1111
  • You can choose any available spot within the Wellness Centre/Student Lounge to sit
  • Most chats last between 15 to 30 minutes
  • If further support is required, the Wellness Peer will guide you to a resource which is right for you

We cannot guarantee confidentiality or privacy of meetings as the Wellness Centre/Student Lounge is a shared student space. If you are looking for private or ongoing support, a Student Support Referral may be a better fit for you.
