Prior to being an Academic Advisor at UFV, Kathryn worked at UFV as a Program Advisor for the School of Social Work, a Housing Coordinator at Residence Services, and an International Student Coordinator in the International office. Her experience over the years besides advising include representing UFV at International education fairs, coordinating international study tour groups, and teaching Instructional Skills Workshops and Microsoft Office classes at UFV Continuing Education.
Kathryn’s passion lies with guiding and assisting students through their academic journey so they can be the best that they can be. She has lived/worked overseas in Japan, travelled to over 20 countries and enjoys a variety of activities such as hiking, artwork, scuba diving, karate, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
