How to pay

The Office of the Registrar is available to support you in-person, by phone, and through email.

Continuing Education students should refer to the Continuing Education website for information on how to pay.

Online banking (preferred method of payment)

Pay by online banking (preferred method) through your bank or credit union by using the same method as paying your bills online:

Login to your bank account
Select University of the Fraser Valley or UFV as the payee
Use your student ID number as the account number
Online payments can take up to 3 business days to be applied to your student account

INTERAC® Online

To pay your registration deposit or tuition fees online with INTERAC® Online, you need to have an account with online banking at one of the following Canadian financial institutions (currently only Royal Bank):

Please confirm with your financial institution that your daily INTERAC® limit is higher than the payment you are making.

Login to your myUFV account and click on Student Information > Student Billing & Accounts > How Can I Pay? > Pay with Interac Online > INTERAC Online Payment. All payments will be applied to your UFV account immediately upon successful transaction.

Note: Bank cards with Debit/Credit logos will not work with this service.

Methods of payment currently accepted:

Online Banking - Pay online through your bank, at least seventy-two hours prior to your registration date, as shown in myUFV. Use your student ID as the payee account number.
Cheque, Bank draft or Money order - Drop off a cheque at the Abbotsford campus drop slot (in person services currently unavailable) or mail to Abbotsford campus.
If paying by cheque, ensure it is for the exact amount owing on your account and include your name, UFV ID, address, and telephone number on your cheque. Cheques should be made payable to University of the Fraser Valley. A $25 penalty will be charged for NSF/returned cheques. Post-dated cheques are not accepted. Domestic students are not able to pay tuition and other semester-related fees by credit card.
