A House of Transformation
UFV campuses are located within the traditional territory of the Stō:lō peoples. We are deeply grateful for the honour of living and working in Stō:lō Temexw (Stō:lō Land).
The UFV motto, "Íyáqáwtxw," is in the Halq'eméylem language of the Stō:lō and means "house of transformation." UFV aspires to be a place of change — where students experience intellectual and character transformation.
Your university has the best backyard
UFV has two main campuses and additional locations across the Fraser Valley, putting you close to some of B.C.’s most beautiful urban spaces and landscapes. Dine at the newest crop of farm-to-table restaurants, browse trendy shops, hike to a pristine waterfall, ski the local peaks — there’s so much to do here! Plus, we’re just a short drive away from Vancouver, with its sparkling beaches, vibrant culture and towering Coast Mountains.

Other locations in the Fraser Valley
Mission
The Mission location at Heritage Park Centre overlooks the picturesque Fraser River valley. Starting in 2023, the Mission location will be home to a new Centre of Excellence for Children, Youth, and Families, and will hold classes for teacher education and other programs focused on children and youth.
Clearbrook
In the Clearbrook Library on the west side of Abbotsford, you’ll find UFV’s Clearbrook Centre, which houses the Applied Business Technology program and Continuing Education.
Hope
UFV Hope Centre connects remote students with UFV services and community resources. From here, students can register and pay for classes, request library books, get their campus cards, and write exams. Community members living in the Hope area can also rent rooms for meetings or community events.
