The UFV History department encourages students to attend or present at academic conferences such as the annual TRU Philosophy, History, and Politics Undergraduate conference in Kamloops.
Funding is available to students who attend or present at conferences. The Student Presentation Grant is available to students who present a research-based paper. The Student Experiences Fund (SEF) is to support learning experiences that take place outside of the classroom that support their personal and professional growth (e.g. conferences, workshops, professional memberships, etc.). Students can apply for up to $500 through SEF.
