Biography

Prior to joining UFV in 2020, I worked as a lecturer at the University of Reading, UK, teaching in a variety of undergraduate and graduate film and television courses for the School of Arts & Communication Design. My research interest focuses on the representation of marginalized voices and migrants in contemporary visual culture.

My passion for arts education and for promoting student equity inside and outside the classroom has led me to my current role in partnership development and practicums for the College of Arts. When I am not in the office, you can usually find me at a film or music festival, checking out art exhibitions, hiking, and exploring new terrain.
