The Integrated Strategic Plan, called Íyáqáwtxw — which means House of Transformation in the language of the Stó:lō First Nation, provides us with an exciting path towards our Vision, and is strongly rooted in our Mission of Engaging Learners, Transforming Lives, and Building Community, as well as our institutional Values of Community, Inclusivity, Excellence, and Integrity.

UFV has developed a new Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) Plan called
Access to Excellence: Managing Enrolment at the University of The Fraser Valley 2023 – 2030.
The Plan will shape the future of how the university recruits, admits, enrolls and delivers a UFV education to our students. UFV’s new SEM Plan is guided by, and supports the implementation of, Íyáqáwtxw: House of Transformation.
Indigenization
Indigenization is a strategic priority of the University of the Fraser Valley. To guide Indigenization the university relies on its Strategic Indigenization Plan, Lálém ye mestíyexw: Re-envisioning a Structure for Indigenization.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan
As a British Columbia post-secondary institution located on S’olh Temexw, the territory of the Stó:lō people, UFV recognizes the diversity of its population, the importance of creating and implementing equity, and exploring the ways in which inclusion can and should take place. Our efforts require concrete goals and actions if we are to achieve meaningful change. These goals and actions are found in UFV’s EDI Action Plan.

Strategic Research Plan 2023–2028
The Strategic Research Plan is used to identify the priority research areas that will guide the creation of Canada Research Chair positions and the allocation of Canada Foundation for Innovation funds. These funds are invested in the development and support of research centres and institutes that meet the economic and social needs of stakeholders within our region.

Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
UFV’s Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs) ensure that each UFV graduate possesses nine key abilities. The ILOs integrate learning across academic disciplines and provide students with a set of tools they can apply after leaving university.

Budget
The Consolidated Budget Plan is guided by, and aligned with, university plans. The Integrated Strategic Plan, the Strategic Enrolment Management plan, and other supporting planning documents are reflected in the resource allocation recommendations throughout each division.
