With 25 years of experience working in amateur sport, Kate is a Chartered Professional Coach with the Coaching Association of Canada and a certified Master Coach Developer in the National Coaching Certification Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley, a master’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, a PhD in Interdisciplinarity from the University of New Brunswick and a Diploma in University Teaching, also from the University of New Brunswick. Her areas of expertise include teaching, learning, and assessment for those in sport and education leadership with a focus on empowering program leaders. While her sport background is primarily in gymnastics, Kate now enjoys running at an ultra-slow pace.  Kate firmly believes in collaborative learning processes and the right to wear comfortable clothing at all times.
