The teams and committees below include representatives from a range of UFV departments. Each group comes together to focus on a key area dealing with safety, emergencies, or risks across our campuses.
Joint occupational health & safety committee
The JOHSC (for short) includes UFV employees and administrators working together to make UFV a safer working and learning environment for all.
Threat assessment team
The Threat assessment team is focused on plans and strategies for dealing with violence or threatening behaviours on campus.
Institutional biosafety committee
Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is responsible to oversee the UFV Biosafety Program and Procedures, provide policy direction, and recommend changes to the administration of the program.
