The Social, Cultural and Media Studies department offers courses and degrees across the disciplines of Anthropology, Indo Canadian Studies, Latin American Studies, Media and Communications Studies, Sociology and Women's Studies.
These disciplines, along with other social sciences, help to develop our understanding of contemporary social issues. In other words, they help us understand how and why we live as we do.
Studying in the Social, Cultural and Media Studies department introduces you to faculty members with a wide range of research interests and industry experience. During case related activities, classroom discussion is elevated through meaningful dialogue and passionate debate.
