Project description
With guidance provided by Seabird Island, this project involved mapping and documenting spiritual sites in and around Seabird Island. The resulting data provided the Seabird Island Lands Department with a valuable resource to inform future on-reserve developments and support decision-making related to land use. It also serves as a reference tool to help advocate for the recognition and protection of culturally significant sites beyond reserve boundaries.
