Project description
This project supported ongoing research aimed at identifying local communities and histories that have been minimized, misrepresented, or omitted from the public record.
Student involvement
Students examined how successive waves of immigration to the Fraser Valley have shaped patterns of displacement, opportunity, tension, and connection. Using a range of research methods, they explored the museum’s holdings alongside other local sources to gather these stories and begin weaving them together into a more complete and accurate historical understanding.
