Project description
As part of UFV’s “Indigenizing Our Academy” initiative, a PARC student designed a permanent Truth & Reconciliation display at the UFV Mission campus, with guidance from Stó:lō community leaders. The design work features infographics, maps, and photos that explore topics such as settler colonialism, residential schools, Stó:lō spirituality, and traditional practices. Written content was developed by Dr. Keith Carlson in consultation with Si:yémiya (Sonny McHalsie), and Grand Chief Pennier (among others).
