SEVERE WEATHER POLICY

If UFV is closed on the day of the grad studies fair due to severe weather, the event will be cancelled until further notice. If UFV classes are cancelled, but the campus is declared "open", the event will be cancelled out of safety for all participants.

Registrants will be notified by email and an announcement will appear on the front page of the Grad Studies Fair website. Every effort will be made to reschedule. Registrants who can participate in the new date will have their registrations transferred. Any organizations unable to participate on the new date will receive a full refund if CECE is notified by the deadline communicated with the rescheduled event information.

The UFV Centre for Experiential and Career Education (CECE) aims to provide a venue where post-secondary and professional studies representatives can connect with the UFV community by raising awareness of further education pathways and career opportunities.

Application Process

Once registration opens, CECE will review all applications. Due to a high demand, we are unable to accommodate all interested organizations. In the best interest of our students and alumni, we strive to ensure there are organizations from a wide variety of disciplines and industries, thus your online registration does not guarantee a table at the Grad Studies Fair.

We reserve the right to deny access and participation to any organizations. Participating organizations agree that they will represent themselves at their table, and not share a table with any other organization unless arrangements have been made with CECE. All participating organizations must ensure their table is staffed for the duration of the event.

Table location at these events must not impede or interfere with the table space of other exhibitors at the fair. This includes any promotional activity such as handing out materials, the playing of music, and the setting up of displays. Table location is decided by CECE and is non-negotiable.

Exhibitors are expected to arrive before the scheduled start time of the event and to remain at the event until the scheduled end time.

Cancellation policy and registration fee is stated on CareerLink for an approved CareerLink employer account.
