Membership perks & amenities

Your membership is an all-access pass to fitness, movement, and recreation across UFV. 

 

  • Flexible membership options
    Choose from membership and day pass options for students, employees, alumni, and community members. Day passes are also available for affiliated community guests.

  • Summit Fitness Centre
    Unlimited access to cardio and strength equipment, free weights, functional training gear, and lifting racks.

  • Sports, fitness & active living
    Take part for free or at a discounted rate in drop-in sports, group fitness classes, wellness activities, special events, and other ways to stay active.

  • Equipment, lockers & towels
    Borrow recreation equipment, access day-use lockers, and use towel loaning services.

Before you purchase

Before purchasing a membership, please review our policies & regulations, including important information about our general rules & expectations, and cancellations & refunds.

UFV students

Eligible: All current UFV students (full or part time). Show your valid UFV ID when purchasing your pass.

GST is not included in the price.

One year promotional pass Date of purchase to 350 days $100 Can be purchased between August 17 and September 17, 2026
Semester pass Fall: Sept–Dec 23
Winter: Jan–Apr 30		 $50 Can be purchased as of August 17.
Half price after October 27, 2026 and March 9, 2027
New month pass Valid for 30 days from purchase date $20 Perfect for those not sure if they want to commit fully to a membership
Academic year pass September–April $80 Continuous access for two semesters. September–April 30, 2027
Intramural pass Valid for the semester in which you are registered in an Intramural league. $20 Provides access only to organized drop-in Futsal and Volleyball.
Day pass 1 day $5 Perfect for guests or trial visits

 

Note: UFV students living in Housing have already paid for their membership through their Campus Living Fee. Bring your Campus Card to the Client Services desk in Building E (E150) to activate your membership. For more information, contact housing@ufv.ca.

 

UFV employees and alumni

Eligible: Current UFV faculty, staff, and alumni. Bring your UFV ID or alumni card to purchase.

New prices are affective Sept 1, 2026.

Community guests

Community members* are welcome to get active with us! Guests must attend with a UFV student, staff, or faculty member, unless otherwise approved by an Athletics & Campus Recreation administrative staff member.

Pass type Duration Price Notes
Day pass One day $10 Price for those without valid proof of attendance at another school.
Day pass One day $7 Students from another school with a valid campus ID. Must show ID to receive this pricing.

 

Note: All non-UFV participants must be at least 17 years old to participate without a parent. Participants under 19 need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver or obtain one before participation. Email campusrec@ufv.ca for a waiver.

Want to get active off-campus?  

The Student Union Society U-Pass currently gives students access to recreation facilities in Abbotsford and Mission. This includes swimming pools, ice rinks, fitness classes, and weight rooms.
