What is a digital badge?

A digital badge is a whole new way to recognize learning and achievement. A digital badge is like a certificate, but unlike a paper certificate, it can be easily stored, displayed, and shared as part of a portfolio online. It's a verifiable record of your skills, experience, and expertise. Find out more at Open Badges.
How to share your achievement
When you complete your course, you will receive an email with details on how you can claim your digital badge.
For the full user experience, you want to set up a CanCred Passport.
From within your Passport, you can:
- Add the badge to your LinkedIn profile
- Share the news of your achievement on social media
- Download a copy for your portfolio or to attach to your resume
- Embed your digital badge in a digital resume or your personal website
- Send your employer a link with a copy of your badge
More resources for how to use your digital badge are available within your CanCred Passport account.
