This seven-week course on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) introduces the foundations of practice and theory for individuals wanting to better understand EDI in organizational settings.
Learn techniques to help you recognize and work with the systems and histories that shape access, representation, interaction, and sense of belonging. The work you do in this course will help you devise approaches and strategies to better engage, serve, and support individuals and groups with diverse backgrounds in organizational settings.

Prerequisite: To take this course, you must first have received your Conditional Certificate of Qualification from the Ministry.
This non-credit online course is required for individuals who hold teaching credentials issued outside the province of British Columbia and who are pursuing a pathway to full certification as a teacher in BC.
Duration: 11 weeks, part-time
Delivery: Online (5 classes synchronous, 6 classes asynchronous)

Students in this course must be pursuing their Certificate of Qualification via the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, Teacher Regulation Branch.
To register, you must be able to provide a valid Conditional Certificate of Qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, Teacher Regulation Branch.
