Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair

Sponsors & Supporters

Thank you to all our partners, sponsors, donors, supporters, and friends! Without the ongoing support of our generous community we would not be able to bring together the region's top science students to share their progress and adventures in science. In addition, your support of the FVRSF propels students to the national Canada-Wide Science Fair and encourages all students to continue to think critically about science and the world around them.

University of the Fraser Valley - Host Partner

Students in grades K to 12 from the Fraser Valley region will be on campus at the Envision Athletic Centre to present at the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair (FVRSF). The annual fair is organized by the FVRSF Committee to encourage and promote ongoing interest in science.

The university has been a longstanding supporter of the fair. Students, faculty and staff of the university will participate as award sponsors, judges, presenters, and volunteers.

The Science Fair Foundation British Columbia serves to support, organize, stage and fund-raise for Science Fairs in BC. This extends to Local, Regional, Canada-Wide and International Science Fairs where students supported by the foundation have consistengly produced high standard projects.

The Science Fair Foundation BC was established in 1997 by a team committed to providing long-term support to Science Fairs in our region.

Special thanks

Thank you to the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair Committee for their continued dedication to science and bringing your passion, intellect, insight, experience and resources to the table.

The Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair (FVRSF) serves to encourage students to explore science and technology and provides them with the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts and accomplishments. By supporting the science fair, you have the opportunity to strengthen science education for our youth and create a significant and positive impact within the Fraser Valley community. An investment in our young scientists is an investment in our future!

Each year, 100% of the money raised by the FVRSF is used to facilitate the fair, student activities, awards, and the funding for Team FVRSF to attend the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF). We are fortunate to have outstanding organizations that contribute to the Fair each year. We invite you to attend our Fair to see how these contributions help support science and youth in our community.

We Need Your Help!

In recent years, with the BC public school system’s scaling back of support for after-school and supplementary programs, support of many enrichment programs including Science Fairs have declined. Your support counteracts this decline as you would be contributing to the nurture of keen students in grades K-12 by providing them with enriching opportunities to meet and learn from peers, mentors, professors, professionals and industry leaders through Science Fairs.

Do you share our mission of encouraging youth to conduct research and experimentation in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics? Are you looking to make a meaningful investment in the future of BC’s youth? If so, please consider making a donation and contact us to explore partnership opportunities.

By supporting BC’s Science Fairs, you have the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships with science education organizations in the province and to create a significant and positive impact within the community.
