Doctors of BC has partnered with the University of the Fraser Valley to provide practical, skills-based training for medical office assistants and clinic staff who support family practice teams. This program is designed to meet the competencies of a panel manager, including the basics of the patient medical home and primary care network, empanelment, registry-based care, and proactive and preventative care.

How does this course help you and your clinic?
This program provides practical tools and processes that can be applied immediately within a family practice setting. Participants learn how to use clinic data more effectively to support preventative care, identify care gaps, improve patient outreach, and strengthen clinic workflows. By developing panel management skills, clinics can improve patient care, enhance team collaboration, support quality improvement initiatives, and create more efficient and sustainable practice operations.
What will I receive upon completion?
A digital credential will be issued to participants who successfully complete all course requirements: a UFV Digital Badge in Panel Management for Family Practice, in partnership with FPSC
