Program & prerequisite waiver

Students not admitted to the Inclusive Education Assistant program must submit a Program/Prerequisite waiver to take ANY IEA course. If a student has taken an IEA course in a previous semester, they must submit a new waiver for any and all future courses if they have not been admitted into the IEA program. The Program Chair will review your request.

Important notes:

  • Waivers will be reviewed and approved ONLY after all students within the IEA program have had the opportunity to register.
  • We will not consider waiver requests for courses that are restricted to “dual credit” students.
    • On the timetables, you will see a note similar to the following: Registration is restricted to Chilliwack and Fraser Cascades Dual Credit students.
  • The IEA program is offered at the Mission campus.
